How to make a booking with a valid credit card.

 

This is a step by step guide to show you how to make a valid room booking at Cosmic Guest House with a credit card using a 3rd party payment processor (PayPal) to handle the credit card payments.

This is a step by step guide to show you how to make a valid room booking at Cosmic Guest House with a credit card. In order to secure a booking, a deposit is always required. PayPal is secure 3rd party payment processor that handles credit card payment for us. You DO NOT need an PayPal account to make a payment.

Step 1:

Select Arrival Date by clicking the calendar button. Use the ">" button to shift to the desired month. Then click on the actual date.

Important, even though in case where your arrival time is way passed mid-night, it is still consider an one night stay. Please use the date of the pervious day as your arrival date. For example, if you are arriving at 4:00 AM in the morning of Jan 1st, please use Dec 31st as your arrival date.

Please note, we do not accept booking for the same day or the next day. Please call or walk-in to check for room availability.

Step 2:

Select Departure Date.

Important, even though if your departure time is way before our standard check-out time in the morning. it is still consider an one night stay. For example, if you are departing at 4:00 AM in the morning of Jan 1st, please use Jan 1st as your departure date.

Step 3:

Select  the number of guests.

Very important!

  1. The number of guests chosen here must be more than or equal to the number of chosen rooms in the next step.
  2. The number of guests chosen here must be less than or equal to the sum of the Max Occupants of all chosen rooms in the next step.

For example, if you are planning to book 3 Single Ensuite (1 Double Bed) rooms, the number of guests here must be between 3 and 6 inclusively.

Step 4:

From the "Available rooms" list pick the desired room type by clicking the "ADD" button. You may select multiple rooms but again, make sure it doesn't conflict with step 3 above.

Step 5:

Check or remove the rooms from the "Selected rooms" list as desired.

Step 6:

  1. Check the "Grand Total" and "Deposit" amount from the "Price Summary" section.
  2. Fill in your details. Make sure every fields are filled correctly. If you are uncertain on a field, type "N/A".
  3. Then hit "Review booking" to continue.
  4. Note: if the "Review booking" doesn't response, that means the number of occupants you filled in step 3 does not match that of the rooms you added. Please go back a try again.
  5. If you have a PayPal account and planning to use it to fund this booking, please try to use the same e-mail address as your PayPal account. This is to avoid confusing on our end.

 

Step 7:

  1. You may read our "Policies & disclaimers" by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page. Once done, click the check box next to the statement "I confirm ...."
  2. Click "Confirm booking" to continue.

Step 8:

Wait for out website to redirect you to the PayPal payment page. Click the "Click Here" button if it doesn't response for more than 10 secondes.

 

Step 9:

If you have a PayPal account, you may proceed by filling in your log-in information. Otherwise, click "Don't have a PayPal account?" to continue.

Step 10:

Fill in your credit card information then click "Review and Continue" to proceed.

Note: To avoid confusion on our end. Please try to use the same email address as the one you filled in previously on Step 6.

Step 11:

Click "Pay Now" to proceed with the payment.

Note: If PayPal returns the following message, and that you are certain you've filled out everything correctly, that might mean that PayPal does not trust the issuing bank of your credit card.

Please try a different credit card that was issued by a more internationally acknowledged bank. You may also use a friend's credit card as long as he/she is aware. If you are still experiencing difficulty with PayPal, we can take your credit card manually. Please provide us with the following information:

Please note, manual processing of credit card take up at least two business days.

Step 12:

When the transaction is approved, the following page will show. Click "Return to Cosmic Guest House"

A confirmation e-mail with a booking number will be sent to your immediately by the booking engine. Check your e-mail box to see if you have received it. If you don't, double check in your junk mail box (especially with Gmail) and make sure you don't have any filter setup to block e-mail from us. If you still don't see it with in an hour, something might had gone wrong in the booking process (mostly likely wrong e-mail address). Please "e-mail us" with your booking information below:
